$75Mount Gay is more than a rum, it’s an experience! Join us at The Reef this September 18th for a culinary tour of Mount Gay through this exclusive 3 course dinner and cocktail pairings special. Learn about how the complex flavors of Mount Gay Rum enhance each delicious dish served with an introduction by our own Executive Chef Stephanie. With each course, let our in-house, award winning mixologists Adrianne Rubin and Jessica Laudatoi enlighten and guide you on the unique flavor notes of each delectable cocktail pairing.
Appetizer:
-Plantain Chip Nachos; Mt. Gay Rum braised jack fruit, 3 bean pico, avocado yogurt sauce
-Coconut Shrimp; Panko crumb, pineapple, Mt. Gay Rum sauce
Cocktail Pairing: Oh! Mojito; Mint, lime, Mt. Gay Rum, coconut, blood orange
Entree:
-Brown Stewed Chicken; Statler chicken, brown sugar, Mt. Gay Rum, peppers, onions, coconut rice, scallions
-Jack Fruit Tacos; Braised shredded jack fruit, jicama cilantro and pineapple slaw, Cointreau and lime crema
-Pan Seared Snapper; Coconut Mt. Gay rum sauce, braised okra, Jamaican rice and peas
Cocktail Pairing: Rumarita; Strawberries, Mt. Gay XO, with hints of lemon, orange, and lime
Dessert:
-Mt. Gay Baked Alaska; Coconut sponge cake, passion fruit gelato
Cocktail Pairing: In Good Fashioned; Cherry, pineapple, orange, dark brown sugar, Mt. Gay Black Barrel
